Setting the Bar Even Higher - Kim Jong-un

Who would have guessed.  A few years ago I started this blog because every now and then I see a real, true idiot that requires some sort of special recognition.

I mean, it isn't personal... I don't know the people that I post in the Idiot Du Jour blog nor here at this "higher" platform.  It is my opinion that actions speak for themselves.  Lord knows I have been guilty of some pretty idiotic things in my time, and thank God they didn't make it to the press.

But seriously, some idiocy is just plain dangerous.  And I'm not talking dangerous on the "I hope nobody gets hurt" level.  I'm talking dangerous on the OMFGIHNBUMC (Oh my f*****g God I hope nobody blows up my city) level.

People are already affected on so many levels - how many days have been shaved off of the sum total of human life due to the simple stresses of this man's actions?

I never imagined the first two inductees into this hall of fame would be a father and son duo.  But here are congratulations to Kim Jong-un (aka kimdʑʌŋɯn) of North Korea for fulfilling his fathers greatest hopes and expectations and raising the bar of idiocy even higher than before.   These footsteps will be hard to follow.

Kim Jong-il -- World's Most Dangerous Idiot

Our first inductee sets the standard for future members of the Hall of Lame.

Kim Jong-il (aka Юрий Ирсенович Ким) is amazingly one of the world's most visible self-pronounced idiots. The danger with folks like this is that they are incredibly clever and powerful.

Don't get me wrong, I have enormous respect for someone who can rule a nation so ineffectively in spite of himself. It is just that things like nuclear weapons aren't toys and should not be put into the hands of the uneducated and ineffective - which is what the latest crop of leaders in North Korea have proven themselves to be.
